ABOUT

About Annika Juds

Annika Juds is a contemporary artist from Munich whose paintings focus on identity, responsibility, and empowerment.

Her works are a contemporary commentary on social role models and, at the same time, an invitation to self-reflection.

Artistic Practice

In her artworks, she combines acrylics, inks, oil pastels, and epoxy resin to create multi-layered visual worlds that oscillate between intuition and structure.

The deliberate use of layers, symbols, and breaks creates a visual language that reveals both the complexity of our times and the search for clarity.

Annika Juds "Female Empowerment Art" Women Empowerment

Before dedicating herself entirely to art in 2020, she worked as a lawyer.

Today she uses this experience to make social issues visible through artistic means – and to contribute to ensuring that art not only depicts women, but gives them a voice.

Contemporary relevance

Her artistic practice takes up the tradition of depicting women in art, but develops it further.

Thus, women are no longer passive objects, but active shapers of their time.

Collections & Exhibitions

Annika Juds' works are part of national and international private art collections and have been shown in renowned exhibitions.

"Ich habe mich spontan in drei Bilder von Annika Juds verliebt und sie in mein Büro gehängt. Die Mischung aus Stärke, Ausdruckskraft und dennoch einer gewissen Sehnsucht in den Gesichtern der Porträts begeistern mich jeden Tag aufs Neue, die kräftigen Farben tun der Seele gut."
