“Vorsicht stark!" (meaning "Caution, strong!”) ...

 

... in contrast to the usual “Be careful fragile!”

This artwork celebrates strong women.

The face remains hidden. It could be anyone.

The “vase” stands for strength and resilience.

Blue patterns that appear symmetrical from a distance, but are not from close up. Uniqueness.

Signs of wear, delft blue, hidden symbols.

Is that the sleeve or a tattoo?

The glued shards at the bottom left are reminiscent of Kintsugi, a very fine, appreciative Japanese technique. It does not see breaks as flaws, but as an expression of beauty. Gaps are not empty spaces, but places where light can shine in but also shine out.

There are also many small details hidden in the “vase”. Which everyone can discover for themselves.
